To mould the sculpt I laid down the head cast onto a bed of clay and built up around around the side of the head making sure to plug up any holes, then built a thick. Once I was happy that it was thick enough and had no holes I mixed up bucket of RTV Silicone and poured it in slowly making sure to cover all the detailed areas and as to not create any air bubbles, One it had all been poured in I then lightly tapped along the sides of the Clay wall to make sure that any air bubbles would dislodge and come to the surface. Once the silicone had fully cured I removed the clay and gently pulled it off the the head sculpt and cleaned it up removing any little pieces of Chavant/Clay from it, and then removed the original Chavant sculpt from the life cast and cleaned it up. The next step was to lubricate the plaster head cast with a thin layer of Vaseline and mix up some fast cast resin and pour it into the mould and then place the life cast back into the silicone mould and hold it in place until the resin had started to cure. Once the fast cast had had ample time to set I then carefully pulled the plaster head cast out from the mould and pulled out the the resin cast.
